
When she isn't at work, you can find her on the nearby hiking trails, laying by the pool with a good book, or taking advantage of the great food options that Las Vegas has to offer. Dani has experience forecasting everything from blizzard conditions to deadly heat and is ready to take on the responsibility of preparing southern Nevada for whatever Mother Nature sends our way. After graduation, she spent a year in eastern Idaho working as an anchor and reporter before moving back home to Boise to take over morning weather at KIVI while enrolling at Mississippi State University to get her meteorology certification. Kelsey was born in Neon Desert, Las Vegas, in the United States on July 29, 1992.


While at BYU, she had the opportunity to travel the country as a member of the BYU cheer squad and intern in New York City in the lifestyle department at NY1. She is excited to keep the heat and leave the humidity as she makes Las Vegas her home!īeckstrom grew up in Boise, Idaho and is a proud graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
